Ethical Hacking is a Crime?
A three-day ethical hacking workshop was held as part of preparations for 'TechSuran 2019', the annual technical festival of the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. In this, the specifics of the subject were explained. Experts told the students that the ethical hacking website or portal can only be with the permission of the company. Hacking without permission is a crime.

Ethical hacking is identifying weaknesses in computer systems and/or computer networks and coming up with countermeasures that protect against vulnerabilities. Ethical hackers should follow the following rules.
- Obtain written permission from the owner of the computer system and/or computer network before hacking.
- The privacy of the organization is protected.
- Transparently report to the organization all identified weaknesses in the computer system.
- Notify hardware and software vendors of identified vulnerabilities.

More than 150 students participated in this workshop organized from 6 to 8 September under the joint aegis of IEEE Student Branch and Cyber X Securities. Experts said that ethical hacking refers to the process in which companies that create websites or portals hire professionals themselves. Actually, companies do this by themselves to check how strong their security system is. He challenges professionals to find a weak vein of the safety net. This is in the interest of the companies and with the help of this, the companies repair their security system. This is a golden employment opportunity for ethical hacking experts. TechSuration is the annual technical festival of the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. It is to be held from 18 to 20 October.
